CABs are expert community groups that review and vet Stacks Improvement Proposals (SIPs) — bringing domain expertise, structured feedback, and decentralized scrutiny to every proposal before it moves forward.
Nominate Yourself for a CAB
Through 2026, the Foundation is building steadier governance processes and clearer, more transparent ways to see how decisions get made. CABs are central to that: each SIP consideration -technical, economic, governance, and beyond - has a CAB responsible for judging its merits and publishing feedback to the community and the Steering Committee.

- Review accepted-status SIPs within their area of expertise
- Publish structured, public feedback for SIP authors and the community
- Help ensure the SIP process stays decentralized and well-vetted
- Coordinate with the Steering Committee as proposals move toward activation
