Through 2026, the Foundation is building steadier governance processes and clearer, more transparent ways to see how decisions get made. CABs are central to that: each SIP consideration -technical, economic, governance, and beyond - has a CAB responsible for judging its merits and publishing feedback to the community and the Steering Committee.
If you've been active in the Stacks community, have real expertise in one of these areas, and want a direct hand in vetting the proposals that shape the network, we want to hear from you.
What CAB members do:- Review accepted-status SIPs within their area of expertise
- Publish structured, public feedback for SIP authors and the community
- Help ensure the SIP process stays decentralized and well-vetted
- Coordinate with the Steering Committee as proposals move toward activation
